The Quick Version
Personal Use
Use Pastey for your own productivity. Don't redistribute or sell our software.
As-Is Service
We provide Pastey as-is. While we strive for perfection, we can't guarantee it.
Be Reasonable
Don't abuse the service or use it for anything illegal. Pretty straightforward.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Pastey website or installing the Pastey browser extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our service.
License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use Pastey. This means you can use the extension for your own productivity, but you may not modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute our software. You also can't remove any proprietary notices or attempt to derive source code from our compiled software.
Service Disclaimer
Pastey is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. While we work hard to maintain reliability, we can't promise perfection—technology is complex, and occasional hiccups happen.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pastey and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
User Responsibilities
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. Don't use Pastey for anything illegal, harmful, or that violates others' rights. Don't attempt to hack, spam, or abuse our systems. Basically, be a good internet citizen.
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Pastey at any time. We may also update these terms as needed. When we make significant changes, we'll do our best to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. We hope it never comes to that—we'd rather just have a conversation and work things out.
