Your clipboard history lives on your device. We never sync your clipboard data to external servers.
Minimal AI Exposure
When external APIs are used, the most minimal subset of data is sent. Sentative data is obfuscated.
No Tracking
API calls are anonymized. Your workflow is private and context lives on your device.
Information Collection
Pastey prioritizes your privacy above all else. The core functionality—managing and searching your clipboard history—happens entirely on your device using Chrome's local storage API. We do not collect personal information, track your browsing history, or monitor your clipboard contents remotely.
AI Features
When you use AI-powered features like smart paste or text transformation, the most minimal subset of data is sent to external APIs. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored or used to train AI models. You're always in control of what gets sent.
Data Security
Your clipboard history is stored locally and remains as secure as your personal device. We implement industry-standard security practices for any data that passes through our services.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for analytics (privacy-focused, no personal data) and AI processing. These services are bound by their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements. We only work with providers who share our commitment to privacy.
